Χανιά | Συμμετοχή σε πρόγραμμα Erasmus για το ΓΕΛ Βάμου

Άλλη μια σχολική χρονιά συνεχίζεται δημιουργικά για το ΓΕΛ Βάμου, mε την συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ και συγκεκριμένα στο σχέδιο που έχει στόχο την υγιή επιχειρηματικότητα των νέων που στοχεύει στην αειφορία. Στο πρόγραμμα αυτό θα λάβουν μέρος σχολεία από 6 χώρες και φέρει τον τίτλο: Young Entrepreneurs Sustaining the Earth. Τα έξι σχολεία είναι η Ogres Tehnikums (OT) από τη Λετονία είναι ο συντονιστής. Οι εταίροι είναι το Ekonomska škola Požega (Κροατία), το Γενικό Λύκειο Βάμου (Ελλάδα), το Λύκειο Teoreticum Henri Coanda (Ρουμανία), το Ι.Ι.Σ.Σ. Carlo Maria Carafa Mazzarino (Ιταλία) και το Samsun Anadolu Lisesi (Τουρκία). Τέσσερα από τα συμμετέχοντα σχολεία λειτουργούν ως γενικά δευτεροβάθμια εκπαιδευτικά ιδρύματα ενώ δύο ανήκουν στην κατηγορία του ιδρύματος επαγγελματικής εκπαίδευσης.4Όπως αναφέρεται στη στοχοθεσία του προγράμματος: είναι ένα καινοτόμο και πολύπλευρο έργο στο οποίο στοχεύουμε απελευθερώνοντας τη δημιουργικότητα, τις δυνατότητες και την καινοτόμο προσέγγιση των μαθητών. Η χρήση πειραμάτων, οι συμμετοχικές διαδικασίες και οι προσεγγίσεις που βασίζονται στους ίδιους τους μαθητές, στοχεύουν στη βελτίωση των ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων τους ώστε να μπορούν να χρησιμοποιούν την ψηφιακή τεχνολογία, ενθαρρύνοντας το δημιουργικό τους δυναμικό, και τους εμπνέει να αναλάβουν δράση προάγοντας την αειφορία. Οι μεθοδολογίες που θα χρησιμοποιηθούν κατά τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος είναι ο Κύκλος Kolb (Ο κύκλος Βιωματικής Εκμάθησης), Μεθοδολογία Waldorf γνωστή και ως εκπαίδευση Steiner, η οποία φιλοδοξεί να αναπτύξει πνευματικές, καλλιτεχνικές και πρακτικές δεξιότητες των μαθητών με ολοκληρωμένο και ολιστικό τρόπο. Η καλλιέργεια της φαντασίας και της δημιουργικότητας των μαθητών αποτελεί κεντρικό θέμα.. Κύρια εργαλεία επικοινωνίας για τους εταίρους θα είναι το Διαδίκτυο, τα ηλεκτρονικά μηνύματα, οι τηλεδιασκέψεις, η σελίδα έργων Facebook, το Skype κ.λ.π.. Όπως είναι εμφανές πρόκειται για ένα ενδιαφέρον, καινοτόμο αλλά και φιλόδοξο πρόγραμμα το οποίο ευελπιστούμε πως με τη συνδρομή όλης της σχολικής κοινότητας θα καταφέρουμε να φέρουμε εις πέρας υλοποιώντας δράσεις που τελικά στοχεύουν στο να εξοπλίσουν τους μαθητές με επιχειρηματικές γνώσεις, δεξιότητες και στάσεις που τους επιτρέπουν να ενεργούν, ευκαιρίες που συμβάλλουν στην καταπολέμηση της ανεργίας των νέων, τον κοινωνικό αποκλεισμό, την αντιμετώπιση άλλων κοινωνικών προκλήσεων και την οικοδόμηση πιο βιώσιμων κοινωνιών. Το ταξίδι ξεκινάει με επίσκεψη στο σχολείο της Σαμψούντας, Samsun Anadolu Lisesi από τις 4 Νοεμβρίου-8 Νοεμβρίου 2019 και ακολουθεί η επίσκεψη των άλλων σχολείων στην πόλη μας περίπου στα τέλη Φεβρουαρίου 2020.

Πρώτη διασχολική συνάντηση (Σαμψούντα – Νοέμβρης 2021)

The first inter-school meeting of our program «Young Entrepreneurs Sustaining the Earth» took place in Samsun, Turkey from November 4 to 8, 2019. Throughout the week the participating students performed carefully planned activities. for the objectives of the project, which covers the areas of Entrepreneurship Education and Learning, Climate Change, Sustainability, Social Inclusion and New Technologies. Below are the activities that took place and the goals that were achieved.

Day 1 – Monday, November 4, 2019: Teachers and students of the host school ΄΄Samsun Anadolou Lisesi΄΄, welcomed teachers and students of the participating schools in a beautiful and cordial reception ceremony. Then the students of all the missions presented by electronic means a projection about the country and the place of origin as well as the main species of the flora and fauna that it contains.

The lunch was followed by a visit to the Bird Observatory in the Kizilirmak Delta, which is part of a national park under UNESCO protection. It is obvious that from the first day our students got in touch with students from foreign countries, got to know the characteristics of the places they come from, practiced their English language and became aware of environmental issues.

Day 2 – Tuesday, November 5, 2019: In the morning we moved to Sourmeli, a village in the countryside where a coordinated effort is made to produce organically grown products. There, members of the local women’s agricultural cooperative (which is an excellent example of agricultural entrepreneurship), showed through experiential learning to students the basics of organic farming, made pasta with organically grown flour, and then the students they followed the instructions and planted their own vegetables. The visit to the village ended with a meal given by the agricultural cooperative offering delicacies made from materials of their organic cultivation. The afternoon was dedicated to marine ecosystems. On the beach of Samsun we attended a lecture by the Biologist of the local university Professor Dr. .Zgür Baytut, for the different types of shells found on the beach and their nomenclature. Then part of the beach was cleaned of plastic materials. During the second day, our students were informed about the sustainable investment, participated in alternative cultivation and contributed to an organized effort to wake up the public about the protection of the environment.

Day 3 – Wednesday, November 6, 2019: In the morning the participating groups trained at the school for hydroponic cultivation and built a hydroponic garden with the help of Professor Dr. Yüksel Ardalı, environmental engineer from the local university.In the afternoon, everyone boarded a ship to study samples from the bottom of the Black Sea, collecting scientific data from the Black Sea under the guidance of Professor Dr. Bayzgür Baytut.The third day was dedicated to alternative forms of cultivation and sustainability. Our students knew the challenges of sustainability, stimulated their creative potential, and built valuable values ​​to meet the social challenges of the time.

 Day 4 – Thursday, November 7, 2019: On the fourth day, our students joined forces with the students of the other missions and created a construction from plastic waste, which they named «Wave of waste». The aim of the project was to raise public awareness about marine pollution, the contribution of plastic material to it, pollution and all types of pollution of the marine environment. The construction was accompanied by a wonderful modern dance performance of the students for which they had been trained for the previous three days (one hour each day).In the afternoon of the same day, an organized tree planting took place on a hill on the outskirts of Samsun, and the same evening after dinner, the host school issued certificates of participation to all participants. On this day, our students developed their critical thinking, thought about their future, found that taking initiative and taking advantage of opportunities leads to sustainable societies and economies.

Day 5 – Friday, November 8, 2019: Our host school travelled to Amasya (city of cultural heritage) where, under the guidance of a guide who is a professor at the University of Samsun, we visited museums, archaeological sites, the main mosque of the city and the surrounding areas. its streets. Also after the meal the process was evaluated by all participants by answering questionnaires for this purpose. On this day, our students spent more time in contact with the students of the other missions and got to know a city with a long history.

During the implementation of the inter-school meeting our students developed skills, improved their skills, learned about sustainable investments and alternative crops, found out how feasible entrepreneurship is aimed at sustainability to improve their lives, practiced their knowledge in English language as they came in contact with students from other countries, got to know their manners and customs, They experienced the evaluation process. Also this week was a valuable experience for students and teachers and the basis on which all participants will work to make the next meetings with the same success.

Δεύτερη διασχολική συνάντηση (Βάμος – Φεβρουάριος 2020)

ACTIVITIES AND RESULTS OF THE 2nd LTTA WICH TOOK PLACE AT GENERAL HIGH SCHOOL OF VAMOS, CHANIA, CRETA IN THE TERM 03-02-2020 TO 07-02-2020

The second LTTA meeting of the Erasmus+ program «Young Entrepreneurs Sustaining the Earth» took place in Vamos Apokoronas from 3 to 7 February 2020. The goal of the second mobility was «to develop self-awareness skills». Throughout the week, the participants carried out carefully designed activities for the purposes of the project, which covered the areas of Entrepreneurship, Education and Learning, Climate Change, Sustainability, Social Inclusion as well as new technologies. Listed below are the activities that have been accomplished and the goals that have been achieved.

Day 1 – Monday, February 3, 2020:
Teachers and students of our school, welcomed teachers and students of the participating school units in a beautiful and cordial welcoming ceremony. Then students of our school presented traditional dances with musical accompaniment by their classmates. Then the teams went to Apokoronas Town Hall where the Mayor welcomed them and talked about Apokoronas, the occupations of the residents, the productive potential of the place and the business prospects of the region. Then the President of the Association of Agricultural Associations of Greece, Mr. Nikos Frantzeskakis, talked about agrotourism as a form of entrepreneurship that contributes to sustainability. After that the participant students were asked to complete questionnaires which were designed according to the principles of » SWOT ANALYSIS », which aims to develop the students’ self-awareness.

 

 

Day 2 – Tuesday 4 February 2020:
Second day’s program started with two math presentations about Math in our daily lives. Subsequently, all students were divided into groups and engaged in a workshop through which they developed patterns based on knowledge of regular polygons. Each group with the motifs created a work of art that was exposed to all groups. After the process was completed, our group visited Ancient Aptera, where they were guided by our students to the archaeological site. Then all the groups dealt with a mathematical problem that was put to them in the area of ancient theatre. They were asked to estimate how many spectators the theatre would have when it was full, at the time of its heyday. To solve this problem, student groups were provided with worksheets prepared by the host school. In this way the students applied simple mathematical knowledge to an
archaeological site, and the truth is that they enjoyed it. After lunch the participants took a walk in the old town of Chania and our guests got to know points of interest in the city.

Day 3 – Wednesday, February 5, 2020:
The third day was dedicated to 10 – 15 minute theatrical events which referred to professional choices. All of the groups had prepared their own plays for the host school. After the presentation of the plays, feedback process was implemented through questions and discussion with the teachers. Then all the students who took part in the presentations were given gifts for their
successful performance. After the morning program was completed, all the groups walked through the old neighborhood of Vamos and got to know the village where our school is located.

Day 4 – Thursday, February 6, 2020:
On the fourth day the teams visited Heraklion, where the archaeological site of Knossos is located, which was the centre of Minoan civilization. There they had a formal guided tour which took them back to past time. Then they visited the archaeological museum of the city, where they toured, and then toured the historical centre of Heraklion city.
In the afternoon, they visited Rethymnon, which is also a city of historical interest, and toured the streets of the old town.

Day 5 – Friday, February 7, 2020:
On the last day’s morning, due to the persistent rainfall, the planned tree planting was not carried out, but it will be carried out a few days later after the soil is dry. It will be attended by all students who were involved in the project during the second mobility. The program began with the announcement of the results from the questionnaires of SWOT ANALYSIS completed on the first day. Then, questionnaires were given to all participants to assess the quality of the second mobility which was
organized by the Vamos General High School. The students then created posters through which they presented their personalities by painting. The projects were subsequently exposed and a feedback process was implemented between students and teachers. Finally, there was the closing ceremony of the second mobility, during which all certificates of participation
were awarded.

During the implementation of the 2nd inter-school meeting, students developed skills, improved their abilities, learned about SWOT ANALYSIS, conducted a workshop on mathematics engaged in everyday life applying their knowledge outside the classroom, they created theatrical events, took part in workshops whose results were exposed, implemented evaluation procedures and participated in feedback processes. In addition, they practiced their English language as they came in contact with students from other countries, learned their customs and culture. Also this week was a valuable experience for our students and their families as through hosting students in families, a particularly important ERASMUS + goal was achieved: to
make all schools in Europe a community.
